This small, discrete Italian restaurant located in the Marais is the meeting place for art lovers.  Stars from the fashion, music, and entertainment worlds gather here. Many have left their dedicated autographs posted on the walls.

The decor is simple. The chef and owner, Aiman Abdel Hafez is young, friendly, accessible and impassioned by its cuisine. Aiman likes to try out new recipes and offers very original dishes which are always a true success. Insiders never ask for the menu and upon request Aiman serves you any plate that will please you.

His creations are influenced by the seasons but you will find truffles throughout the year on the menu. Everything is fresh and homemade.  The gnocchi are famous and the risotto with the ginger or citrus fruits offers a unique treat for the senses. The cellar made up of Italian wines is very impressive.

The hot-hot restaurant of Spring 2010 is a hybrid of French and Chinese influences. Chef Adeline Grattard's place is officially a hit: all the major French critics have stampeded and adored, following François "Le Figaro" Simon's first-night sampling. He was just awarded a Michelin star so go quick before prices sky-rocket. Their uniform approval means that booking ahead is already a must. Food is prix fixe and regularly changing, but expect some proper veg and Asian prep for French foie gras. The name Yam'tcha translates to "drink tea" and alludes to the available tea pairings. There's also (Yam'Merlot!) wine on offer. Count 30€ for lunch and between 45-65€ at dinner. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

If you are looking for a sexy and stylish restaurant and lounge bar serving creative French cuisine then look no further than the excellent Depur restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. Situated in the cool Parisian sports club Klay, Depur is the hot new offering from the same team that brought the cool Drôle d’Endroit pour une Recontre to the French capital. Depur boasts the same style and ambience as some of New York City’s hottest lounge bars and is a haven for the young and hip of Paris. The style is fabulously retro with big comfy leather sofas, a quirky art collection and a delightful roof garden covered with little lanterns. The French menu offers an exciting choice of dishes which includes quinoa risotto with prawns and lemon or beef tartar with white truffle oil followed by desserts like rice pudding with strawberry jam or floating islands. The cocktail list is just as important as the food at Depur with the red fruit mojito, the champagne cocktail and the dry martinis coming tops. Depur is combines classic Parisian brasserie with New York cool and is one hot dining and drinking option in Paris’ 2nd.
